If I am elected, I will seek impeachment of President Bush before he leaves office January 20.
The military intervention in Iraq is a long-held plan that was just waiting for an excuse to fight a war for oil, military bases, for Israel and possibly for revenge. It was done illegally and was not justified in any way by an actual threat to U.S. national security.
In that regard, the 1,000 soldiers, sailors, airmen and women and Marines who have died, and the countless, nameless Iraqi children, women and men civilian casualties cry out from the grave for impeachment of President George W. Bush.
Most of us came here from where they are; so we do not regard anybody as ’foreigners’ to be considered enemies for not giving in to a bullying foreign policy. I stand for disavowing the old ’foreign policy’ of bribers and bullies, which the people of the world have come to resent so much that they hesitate to stand with us against fanatical terrorists. |
